Ghost Dream

{A 5-piece collection by Beverly Moon}

Inspired from my fascination of lost souls and the hypnotic river of sound, my 5-piece collection entitled "Ghost Dream" is a mixture of light and dark, half euphonic half eery, sugar high and love-stoned. The Ghost Dream takes you to a Valhalla floating through the ethers of the Earth, where religious moon bath rituals are practiced. The home of the wandering spirit dancers. This is where it all began.

Film Noir

We did a shoot for my friend Patrick's final portfolio. I wasn't the stylist but I assisted anyways...
We shot in our school which is a good backdrop for fashion spreads I must say. The model was Katarina Nemcova. I love saying her name...Katarina Nemcova! (in Italian accent with hand gestures) Oh wait, she's Slovenian.

The concept was Film Noir...but fashion.

Kat was really good! And she defeated the European model stereotype too. I love her!

This was a shot using just my hybrid cam. I experimented with the lights inside the studio...turned out lovely.

Final shots were breath taking. Patrick is a really good photographer plus the style team was great too!
Not surprised how beautiful the shots turned out...

New York! New York!

Okay, I lied. It's not New York...but close enough! This is my friend Tin, a fellow blogger and fashion 'reppin sister! Haha what? I sound so ghetto.

We conducted a shoot for an upcoming talent agency. Basically, for their setcards. Tin and another friend, Roko styled while Patrick art directed.

One of the talents, Ina.
This is a Tin x Roco creation + Patrick's boots! Haha the shoot was pretty much last minute so improvisation powers were handy.

There were a total of six talents both male and female but no pictures since this was only a teaser shoot, they're trying to save the face launch on a date set...does that rule even exist? Maybe I just made that up.

Had to sneak a quick mini shoot of our own in the streets. For folio purposes.

We grabbed lunch at Eastwood after...and played tourists.

Had to stop over at Patrick's mentor's house. So much gayness in one household! I love it.

...and that's how our New York trip ended! Not.
More from this day to follow!

Mad Hatter

Our friend Nadine was working on her portfolio as a make-up artist and she asked us to help her out, basically be her team for the shoot.

Her make-up style was beautifully executed. The eccentric feel made it differ from other up and coming make-up artists. The shoot turned out to be a win-win situation for both Nadine + me and Tin as stylists. We ended up adding the output to our styling portfolio as well.

Good job team!
