Wal☆Art

One of our friends, Anna held an exhibit with a few other up and coming graphic artists.

The exhibit featured some of the "freshest" works from 18 creative minds, WAL☆ART was inspired by the amount of inspiration you can draw from a place such as a supermarket. The pieces are for sale as well!

These were two of my favorite pieces...

"Eye Freak" by Josh Cerezo

by Van Omila

They also had demos for interactive games where we can play on the big screen. It was cute as a button...and I could just imagine the hell of bajillion input of codes to complete a simple game. Amazing.

It was also a night where me and  couple of friends got reunited and we talked non-stop endlessly about our favorite topic. (Scroll a few posts down to get a hint...)

Shoutout to my Street Team friends Lei, Anna, Anne, Charm, Shereen and Chie for a fun night. Can't wait for the next!

Getaway up North

It was my first time in Ilocos...I was in awe how beautiful the scenery was. The trip was sponsored by our History of Art and Design class. On our first day, we went to four places. Cordillera beach, Currimao Coral Formations, Paoay Church, and Malacañang of the North.

I love the beach, and my favorite was the currimao coral formations. It was so beautiful, it's crazy. Me and my friend, Brix were taking pictures like a bunch of trigger happy kids.
I snagged a few pretty looking corals while walking around Currimao. It looks like cosmic stones from another dimension...I love it. I actually felt like it was calming me for some reason. (or maybe I wanted to believe that it had calming powers)

On our second day, we stopped at the famous Patapat bridge with a lovely view of the beach. After a gazillion kodak moments, we visited and had lunch at the Terra Rika resort in Pagudpud. I knew it was a beautiful place upon seeing a deer head hanging on their wall. I loved the interior of the whole place...

Third day was the best. It was the thing I looked forward to...shopping in Vigan!

I'm glad I had Brix as my shopping buddy. We literally went to every store, piece by piece. Everything was so nice and cheap!!! Only in Vigan. And I swear, we bought so much stuff we looked like shopping thieves.
A place I definitely must go back to...
We had a quick dinner at a restaurant which served Ilocos specialties.

The 10+ hour bus ride was crazy too! But fun. Wouldn't have it any other way...
